NUT GRAF:

Before the start of a story, a nut graf is needed. A nut graph is basically a short summary of what the story will be about in a "nutshell." It also provides transition from the lead to the actual body paragraphs.

Inside the nut graf, it tells the reader why they should read the story or why they should care for what it is about. It gives important information that tells why the story is so important. Basically, it's made to tell you what the point of reading the story is.
