This story is about an art organization trying to find a place to build and spread their work. THe people were worried that if they moved then the people would not follow them to their new location. It is a place where they have art exhibits that famous people have even looked at.

2. On the side of that story, there is a "sidebar" with additional information about arts in Austin. What types of information were provided in those sidebars that you didn't get from reading the "Flatbed" story?

When and where the new area will open, how to call and contact the people. Also you learned more about the different hot spots.

3. In Wednesday's paper on page D1 in the story called "Formula one for success," what is the main focus of the story? Please be specific and summarize the entire story.

The main focus is to see the reactions and opinions of others about the race. They talked about what they hoped would happen and what made the whole race so exciting and thrilling.

4. What does the writer do that causes you to keep reading the article even if you don't care about cooking, or formula one car racing?

The writer gets different opinions from different people, or different stories about the past races. This makes the article more personal and more unique, making the reader want to read more. 

5. What techniques did the page editors at the Austin American Statesman use to break up the lengthy text present in that story?

They put the text on two pages and also used columns to make the text seem shorter. 

6. In Tuesday's paper on page D1 in the story called "Hug to out is the ethos of Roy Spence," 

what is the main focus of the story? Please be specific and summarize the entire story

The main focus is the point and importance of hugs. Spence talked about feeling lonely one night and remembered all the hugs his parents used to give him. He started writing a book on the different kinds of hugs and how each one i special and important in their own way. 

7. Would you want to get a hug from Roy Spence? Why or Why not.

Yes, because I love hugs.
