In this event, Hitler became chancellor of Germany. This was a disgrace to America and many others who did not agree with him. He was a power hungry man and wouldn't let anyone get in his way, and even kill them if he had to.
I think that this event was one of the most interesting and the most important in the 1900s because it was the bad beginning of a horrible time. As soon as Hitler was appointed chancellor, things changed. Many people died because of him, or suffered deeply. But, we would never have the wonderful victory story to tell without WWII.
